PERFORM Success Story:
ExpanSIS (Consortium Student Information System)
Information exchange is a critical component in consortia management. Phone calls, email attachments and faxes were the insecure and inefficient methods used to exchange course enrollment and grade information when the first Great Plains IDEA program was implemented. The IAA responded by working with the Great Plains IDEA registrars and K-State computer programmers to identify data requirements and develop a secure, web-based system to exchange course, student, faculty, and financial information and generate enrollment reports, and class rosters. This affordable program is now available to meet the information exchange needs of new consortia.
