In 2006, the MNSCU Teacher Center project was struggling to achieve a common vision. The Chancellor’s Office asked the IAA to facilitate a meeting of the seven system presidents, provosts/vp’s for academic affairs, education deans, and campus coordinators. Before the meeting, Sue Maes conducted 29 phone interviews. Based upon the interviews, a report was prepared that clarified individual expectations and concerns, and proposed next steps in the development and implementation of the Teacher Center. The IAA co-directors then facilitated a meeting that helped MNSCU achieve consensus on future directions for the Teacher Center.
